Project: Fairy Tale
12October 13, 2012 by Alice in Readerland
Next year, I will be joining Project: Fairy Tale!
Basically, being part of Project: Fairy Tale means that I will be reading an original fairy tale, reading 3 retellings or spin offs of that fairy tale, and then writing reviews on them.
I chose the fairy tale of Puss in Boots, which I’ve always loved. I mean, I love cats and boots, so what could be better?
So keep on the lookout for posts on Puss and Boots and fairy tales coming February/March 2013! More details coming soon!

Yay, I’m glad to see more people join in! I picked Cinderella and I can’t wait to start. Alison has a really great idea for this feature :)
I’m so glad I found out about this! Cinderella’s my favorite fairy tale so I can’t wait to see what book retellings you review! :)
Wow, there are retellings about Puss in Boots? That’s interesting. Can’t wait to read your reviews, too! ^_^
Reblogged this on Mark Geoffrey Kirshner.
Such a cool idea, love it!! I’m not sure what my favortie fairy tale is… maybe Sleeping Beauty? Or maybe I just like the name Briar Rose :) Anyway can’t wait to see what books you review!
I just signed up for it too!! I’m doing Peter Pan.. and so excited! Thanks for giving me the heads up about it :)
That’s awesome! :) Can’t wait to see what Peter Pan retellings you read; I love Peter Pan!
This is a really great idea. My favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast though I’m more partial to the disney version than the Grimm tale.
Thanks for commenting! I love Beauty and The Beast (I’m partial to the Disney version, as well). I can’t wait to see what retellings are reviewed for Project: Fairy Tale!
